Luncheon For Life

HARRISBURG, N.C.- - Brooke Gordon, Kim Labonte and Jada Nadeau will come together for the "Hendrick Wives Luncheon for Life," a special benefit sponsored by Quaker State to support the Hendrick Marrow Program on Thursday, March 30 at The Renaissance Worthington Hotel in Fort Worth, Texas.

The agenda for this special event, which will run from noon-1:30 p.m., includes:

  • An up-close question and answer session with the wives of Hendrick Motorsports drivers Jeff Gordon, Terry Labonte and Jerry Nadeau. Get a rare glimpse inside the lives of Jeff, Terry and Jerry through their wives' eyes. Listen as Brooke, Kim and Jada tell tales of both the excitement and demands of being married to a Winston Cup driver.
  • A first-hand, inspirational account from a marrow patient who's directly involved in the fight for life. This testimonial is sure to be both memorable and educational, giving guests the opportunity to learn basic truths and misconceptions about the marrow donating process.

All funds raised through the luncheon will benefit the Hendrick Marrow Program, which was established in 1997 after Hendrick Motorsports founder Rick Hendrick was diagnosed with leukemia. It was created to raise funds to help those suffering from leukemia and other blood disorders. Proceeds are used to help host marrow drives to recruit prospective donors, fund tissue typing and research, and also to educate the public about the National Marrow Donor Program.
