RICHMOND, VA.- - On the heels of back-to-back victories at Talladega and Fontana, Jeff Gordon headed to Richmond International Raceway on Tuesday, May 4 for a test session in preparation for the Nextel Cup race at the track on May 15. Repaving at the track resulted in faster lap times and the track qualifying record is expected to be shattered. Though it remains to be seen whether a faster track will translate into better racing.

Gordon took to the track in the #24 Chevrolet, sans the sponsor decals. Yvonne attended the test session and sent in some pictures.
