I've been a Jeff Gordon fan since his win at the inagural Brickyard 400. I didn't watch much NASCAR at that time being a bigger fan of Indy cars. I had to watch the Brickyard just to see the race. Not knowing who to root for I picked the number 24 for three reasons. 1, He drove a Chevy. 2, I was 24 years old at the time. 3, It was the only car that I saw in the field with my favorite color on it.

I have been a diehard Jeff Gordon and NASCAR fan ever since. My office walls are lined with Jeff Gordon pictures and diecasts. Jeff is the subject of a sub-section of my family's website. I root for him through thick and thin.
